Coding is taken from the word computer codes (a language that the computer understands). It is essentially written instructions that a robot (A robot is a machine—especially one programmable by a computer—capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically) or computer program can read and then execute. Coding programmes focus on software while robotics programmes cover both hardware and software.
Robotics allows students to see their thinking in a real way as they go through trial and error until the task is accomplished and the robot’s motions are performed as originally intended. Robotics is more hands-on as it allows kids to interface with physical machines.
The terms are used interchangeably, coding and programming are instructing the computer to perform various tasks.
Children within the age of 7 above learn very well online with our Instructor that teaches using a project-based learning approach. Our Tutors get the kids’ hands busy and their brain learning every minute online to keep them interested and open to do more.
We provide access to our Google classroom where learners obtain further learning materials in form of videos, notes and are able to chat with their Tutors and colleagues when they run into difficulties.

Scratch programming is the most recommended beginner programming language for kids aged 6-12 years. The time period for completing a program differs between courses. Some courses are designed to be completed in 36 hours (Scratch Programming), 48 hours (HTML/CSS) whilst others can be as long as 72 hours (Python Programming). Although these are standardized times, there is a chance there might be slight changes due to student assimilation rate and project completion times.

Aside from the tremendous demand for programmers across the world, there are a lot of overlooked benefits of learning how to code. The minimum age requirement for our virtual class is 7 years of age while the minimum for our Physical class is 6 years of age.
All that is needed to start is a laptop/computer with an Internet connection. Tablets may also be used but with limited functionality depending on the course.

With a few lines of code, they can instruct and get their robot to move, follow lines, avoid obstacles, raise its arms, or even dance.

What will the student learn?
Web Development (HTML/CSS): Compulsory prerequisite for ages 13 to 16 years interested in coding. Ages 7 to 12 years that are already proficient in scratch programming with project proofs can proceed with this course.
HTML and CSS go hand in hand for developing flexible, attractive and user-friendly websites. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is used to show content on the webpage while CSS is used for presenting or designing the page to look at.
